JIMMY HARNEN JOINS CAPITOL RECORDS NASHVILLE TEAM
AS SENIOR DIRECTOR NATIONAL PROMOTION

November 4, 2004 - Industry veteran Jimmy Harnen joins Capitol Records Nashville as Senior Director, National Promotion. Harnen will report
directly to Bill Catino, Executive Vice President Promotions; he will, along with the rest of the Capitol Records Nashville Promotion team, work as a
liaison between the label and country radio stations across the U.S.

"Jimmy Harnen is an accomplished and forward-thinking promotion executive," said Catino. "We're experiencing a tremendous amount of success
with our artists, and it's a terrific time for Jimmy to come on board."

"I enthusiastically look forward to being a part of the incredible team at Capitol Records Nashville," states Harnen.  "People like Mike Dungan and
Bill Catino are in short supply in this world and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from them.  It will be an honor, a privilege and - most
importantly - a lot of fun to work with one of the finest roster's in all of music."

Harnen's 18 years of music industry experience includes Co-National/Northeast Promotion and Artist Development at DreamWorks Records
from 1997-2003, working with such artists as Toby Keith, Randy Travis, Jessica Andrews, Darryl Worley, Jimmy Wayne, and Emerson Drive.  Prior to
joining Capitol Nashville, Harnen was Vice President/Associate Manager at Refugee Management International, working with country music artist Jo Dee
Messina. Harnen is also a singer/songwriter and producer; his song "Where Are You Now?" was a Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the early 90s.
